Kathryn Yvonne Smith

On May 30, 2017, Kathryn (Kathy) Smith passed away suddenly after complications from a heart attack in Hemet, CA. Kathy was born in Georgia on October 30, 1952. She enjoyed spending time outdoors camping with friends and family in the mountains, as a camp host, at the Colorado River, and anywhere her motorhome would take her. Kathy enjoyed music of all types, but thoroughly enjoyed the blues. She loved her family fiercely, nicknamed “Santa Clause”, she loved spending time with all her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Kathy was a lover of animals and always had a dog by her side. Her loving spirit will be missed by all.

Kathryn is survived by her husband Julian Nunez; daughter Tracy McCarter, son-in-law Scott McCarter, granddaughter Kathryn McCarter; son Edward H. Marriott, granddaughter Mikayla, grandson Darren, grandson Alexander; son Dallas Smith, daughter-in-law Coby Smith, grandson Lance Smith; sister Dera Boudreaux; daughter-in-law Anna (Carlos), Tosha (Shawn); son-in-law Julian ( Sara); grandchildren Junior, Caroline, Calissa, Tati, Joseph, Julian, Eli, Lawrence, Ikaika, Allissa; and great-grandchildren Elias and Penelope.

The family invites all of Kathy’s friends to come and celebrate her life with them on Sunday, June 4th at 10am at Weaver Mortuary 1177 Beaumont Ave., Beaumont, CA 92223. A reception will follow at the home of Brent and Andrea Murray 1240 N. California Ave., Beaumont, CA 92223.
