Kenneth Gardner passed away at his home in Cabazon, California on May 28, 2014. He was born on July 25, 1953, in Shamrock, TX, to James A. and Alma Gardner. He was one of four children. Ken grew up in San Jacinto during the 60’s and 70’s, until he enlisted in the Army in 1974 and he served his term in Germany as a heavy equipment driver. He was a E-4 Rank. Ken was a carpenter for over 20 years and he enjoyed building things, he was good at that. Ken is survived by his wife, Silvia and daughter, Sylvia Marie of Banning, CA, brother, James C. Gardner of Cabazon, CA, sister, Carolyn Knight of Riverside, CA, brother, Rick Gardner of Browning, MT, step-daughter, Isabelle Black of Banning, CA, step-son, Early Black, Jr. of California,
two step-grandchildren, Reshian Hopkins and Carlos Black. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Alma Gardner and step-son Benjamin Black.
Viewing and services will be held at Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont, CA, on June 6, 2014 from 9am - 1pm.
