

Lenora (Lynn) Maxwell passed away October 20, 2017 at Pacific Pines, a beautiful board and care facility in Redlands, CA. Lynn was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma February 9, 1932 to Newton and Mary Rowell. Her family moved to California when she was a young girl and settled in Wilmington. She met the love of her life, Bob Maxwell, in high school and they married in 1953.
Lynn worked two jobs and reared three children before moving with her family to Yucaipa in 1961. She began running the family business, 4-M Company, with her husband Bob in 1962 and was an extremely successful business woman for over 40 years. She was loved by everyone who worked for her and those that worked with her.
Lynn loved travelling with her husband and their loyal, fun loving friends from the Wilmington days, deep sea cruises, trips to Bullhead City, and time on their boat the “Senora Lenora.”
If you knew Lynn, you couldn’t help but love her. She could light up a room with her smile and surrounded everyone with her love, faith and giving ways. We will always carry her memory in our hearts.
Lynn is survived by her brother Larry and wife Diane Rowell of Cherry Valley; daughter Corbie Maxwell of Cherry Valley and son Bobby and his wife Hali Maxwell of Yucaipa; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husband Bob Maxwell, daughter Sharon Hall and brothers Newt and Joe Rowell.
Funeral services will be held on November 19th at 4pm at Oak Valley Church, 9580 Calimesa Blvd., in Calimesa.
