Michael J. Barre, Sr passed away October 19, 2015 at his home in Yucaipa, California after a short battle with cancer. Michael was born June 30, 1942 in Meriden, Connecticut to Alban and Florence Barre.
Michael served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 until 1963 and participated in the Cuban Crisis where he received the Navy Expeditionary Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
Michael leaves behind his lifetime partner Marlena Dyer, a sister, a brother and three children Lee Ann, Michael John Jr. and Tracy as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Graveside service Monday, November 9, 2015, at 1:30pm at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, California.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
