Patricia Louise Pierce

Trish was born January 26, 1947, in Omaha, Nebraska to parents Leonard and Mary Honke.

She moved to Southern California and graduated from Savannah High School in 1965. Trish welcomed daughter Shelly and son Michael a few years later.

Trish held many jobs but her most proud employment was with Northrop Grumman as an executive secretary. She loved the company and made many friends over the years. She retired after 20 years to take on the full-time role of Nana. She continued this position until her passing.

Trish met Chuck Groves 34 years ago and it was true love. Chuck and Trish moved to Beaumont in 2003 to be close to Michael, his wife Michelle and their three daughters. Trish cherished her ‘Nana duties’ and was a bright star in the family.

Family has always been the most important thing to Trish. She made sure everyone felt love and appreciation. One thing you could always count on was a birthday card in the mail every single year. She never missed a birthday, anniversary, or holiday. Trish loved to celebrate any accomplishments her children or grandchildren received. She would praise the big and small things with the equal enthusiasm. When she entered a room her bright smile and radiant blue eyes filled it and the love was visible.

Trish is survived by husband Chuck; daughter Shelly; son Michael and daughter in law Michelle; four granddaughters Brittny, Autumn, Emma, and Aimee; great-granddaughter Amelia and great-grandsons Cruze, Everett, Paxton, and Baby Boy Coffman.
