

Patrick H. Mc Laughlin passed away June 18, 2012, in Banning, California after a period of declining health. He was born and raised in Jeanette, Pennsylvania and lived there until he joined the U. S. Marine Corps after his high school graduation in 1941. Patrick was a verteran of WW II, Korea and Vietnam.
Patrick married his wife, Marie, in 1945. Most of their married years were spent in Southern California in between his tours of duty overseas and assignments in North Carolina and South Carolina. Patrick worked in aircraft maintenance and served on many famous aircraft carriers until his retirement as a Chief Warrant Officer after 24 years of honorable service.
Patrick and his wife retired to Sun Lakes Country Club in 1989 and lived many happy years enjoying their time with family and friends. He was a good and kind man whose life can be summed up by his love of God, family and country.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Marie; his children, Patricia (spouse Bill), Michael (spouse Ellie) and Rebecca (spouse Kevin); his grandchildren, Michael (spouse Sommer), Kelly, Christopher, Spencer and Connor and his great grandchildren Emilie, Race and Remee. He was preceded in death by a son Robert in 1995. Patrick will be remembered as a loving husband, dad and grandpa.
Memorial Funeral Mass was held at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Beaumont, California and burial at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California with military honors by the U. S. Marine Corps.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
