Phillip served in the U. S. Army from 1944 until 1946 when he was Honorably discharged. He received the Soldier's Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with three Bronze Service Stars with Germany Clasp.
Phillip was a builder by trade in the Washington DC and Maryland area. He moved to Sun Lakes Country Club, Banning, California with his wife Theresa in 1999. He was an avid golfer.
Phillip is survived by his wife Theresa, son Patrick C. Urquhart, sister-in-law Lisa Park, brother-in-law Michael Kim and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 11:00am, at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, California. Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California.
