Ralph was an introspective person and in many ways an independent thinker. He was for the underdog and the working man. He appreciated the hard labors that went into the construction of buildings, as he was a mason himself at one time before having committed to factory work that promised consistent pay to provide for his family. He loved his dogs and cared for them with the greatest affection. He was occupied by the big questions of life concerning the nature of man and his origin story. He loved his wife dearly and never fully recovered after her tragic death at the young age of 46. He held special connections with his granddaughter and grandson and was especially tickled by his great-grandson Noah, who gave him the most joy towards the end of his life.
Ralph is survived by his daughter Sophia Mongello, his son Tracy Ricard, his daughter Maria Governo, and his son Virgil Ricard, his brother Charles Ricard, his grandchildren Nienke Rolon, Francisco Gonzales, Lozen Ricard, and Great grandchildren Noah, and Odin.
Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Theresa Ricard, his mother Hilda Ricard, and his father Floyd Ricard, his sister Rosemary Warren.
A chapel service and reception for Ralph will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont, California 92223.
