My deepest sympathy to Dick’s beloved wife and family. He was a great animator and artist, a wonderful painting mentor and good friend. It was an honor to know and paint with him. He will be missed by many, including those who worked with him in the audiovisual field, as well as those who enjoyed the privilege of painting  plein air with him . Whenever we gather to paint, will fondly remember him and happy times painting the scenery together. Dick liked to compare art to fishing and whether we “caught a good one,”  or not, it was always a good day to be painting outside with him. Blessings to all his loved ones. May he rest in peace🕊
