

Born in Schenectady, New York, son of Isabella (Scalise) and Joseph (Giuseppe Antonio) Mazza. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lucy Parente and Catherine Rasso of Long Island and brother, Anthony Mazza of Long Island, New York.
His loving wife of 69 years, Marilyn Josephine Bryant Mazza passed away only 10 days later on March 31, 2022.
Robert is survived by his six children, Joseph, Mark, Maureen, Judy, Gail, Robert, and their spouses; 8 grandchildren, Collin, Ahren, Nicole, Andrew, Jessica, Nathan, Robert, and Brad; 4 great grandchildren, Bay, Marlin, Pippen, and Drexler and, nieces and nephews.
Robert graduated from Mont Pleasant High School followed by attending and graduating from Mohawk, Champlain College, and Albany Business College, all in New York State. He was a lifelong athlete and played football in high school and college. He also ran track and qualified for the Penn Relay races in 1943. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European theater as a military police. He was an avid tennis player and was invited to play several USTA tournaments in his age group. He had a long career as an accountant that reached to 87th year and was self-employed as an income tax practitioner for more than 35 years.
Robert was a loving wonderful father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is loved by all. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral services and arrangements are entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, California on Friday, June 24th at 11:00 AM.
A private interment with military honors will be held at Riverside National Cemetery.
