Alice Garnet Farley

Born March 24, 1927 in Mt. View, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Barnet Vergil and Zanzie Basham Cole. Alice was a wife, mother and homemaker. She attended the Little Bethel Church in Mount View. She traveled with her husband and friends to many churches within the association. She loved to read and was a wonderful cook.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Clark Farley.

Those left to cherish Alice’s memory are daughter, Barbara Ann Mattingly and husband John of Ocala, Florida, Judith Gayle Bice and husband Jim of Newnan, Georgia; granddaughter, Stephanie Bice Herring of Carrollton, Georgia; great-granddaughter, Isabella Herring of Carrollton, Georgia.

Friends may gather with the family, Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 6-8pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.

Services will be 11am, Monday, December 28, 2015 at the funeral home with Elder Verne Blankenship and Elder Lonnie Mullins officiating. Friends may gather one hour prior. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
