Beatrice Ann Phillips

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, James Clyde Phillips Jr.; her sons James Randall of NM, and Gary Phillips of WV; and her brothers Paul, Perry and Paris York.

Those left to cherish her memory include her grandchildren and great-grandchildren Kelly Lee and her husband Josh of NC and her children Zach and Kayla; Devin Phillips and her children, Caidin England and Addison Phillips of WV; Dana Phillips and her children Riley Phillips and Ameila and Everly Reynaga of SC; Jarred Phillips and his wife Sarah and their children Mayce and Dawson of WV; and her brother Ben York of VA.

Beatrice was the home everyone came back to. A place you went if you needed your belly filled, and where laughs were always plentiful. she was loved by many family and friends from around the world, all of whom were touched by her strong faith and devotion to God. She was strong willed, feisty and unconditionally loved up until her last moments when she passed peacefully in her own home.

A celebration of Beatrice's life will be held on Monday September 15, 2025 at 1:00 pm Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Carlton Schooly as celebrant. Friends may gather with the family from 12:00 pm until the service. Beatrice will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Beckley.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
