Mrs. Betty Kay Kinder

Betty worked in the banking industry as a mortgage loan officer for over 30 years. She then worked for Raleigh County as a deputy assessor.

Betty's greatest joys in life were spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids, reading, shopping, vacationing with family and anything having to do with Elvis Presley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Robert Kinder.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son Shane Kinder of Prosperity, daughter Ambra Amy and husband John of Sevierville, TN; grandchildren Makayla Amy of Knoxville, TN, Marissa Amy and significant other Jacob Depew of Sevierville, TN, Madison Amy and fiance Calvin Endicott of Oak Hill, WV, Logan Amy of Sevierville, TN; great grandchildren Riley, Raegan, Hadley, and Hudson; her great grand dog Gracie; sister Vera Lawrence and husband Jerry of Beckley, brother Gaylard Williams of Columbus, OH and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday May 9, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Lawrence officiating. Betty will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
