Born July 23, 1936, in Coal City, WV; she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Myrtle Walker.
Carol loved to travel, even overseas to Europe! She was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Compton and her son, Barry Compton.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Randy Compton of NC, extended family and friends.
Graveside Services to celebrate her life will be held 11:00AM Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley with burial to follow.
