Charles Albert Barnett Jr. age 73, of Beckley, West Virginia passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a sudden illness. Born on Sept 13, 1951, at Glen White, he was the son of the late Charles Barnett Sr. and Phyllis Bolt Barnett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Barnett.
Charles previously worked as a custodian in retail and was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed attending church in his younger years. After becoming disabled, he enjoyed the services held at Jackie Withrow Hospital, where he resided for a number of years.
Surviving family members include his sister Dovie Short, brothers Henry, Frank and David Barnett, sister Hildred Plumley, sister Susie Barnett, special niece Pansy Rowe and other extended family and friends.
Private services for Charles will be held at a later date.
