Charles Larry Wallace Sr.

Charles Larry “Wally” Wallace,Sr of Fireco, passed away January 22, 2015. Born July 10, 1951 in Kentucky; he was the son of the late John “Pepper Martin and the late Constance Agee Martin.

Wally loved hunting, fishing, and coached girls softball. He was a retired School Bus Driver for Raleigh County and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter in law, Sarah Dawn Wallace and a grandson, Justin Scott Bell.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Imogene Wallace of Fireco; children, Charles Larry Wallace, Jr. of Coal City, Jennifer Lynn Bell and husband, Paul of Coal City, Christopher Wallace and wife, Josie of Dry Creek, and Kelly Wallace and wife, Mary of Fireco; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; brothers and sisters, Marlene Helvey of FL, Randy Wallace and wife, Beverly of NC, Vickie McCoy of Beckley, and Cindy Farris and husband, Billy of Sullivan; several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Charles Larry Wallace, Sr. will be held 2:00PM Monday, January 26, 2015. Following the services Wally will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

Friends may gather with the family from 1:00PM until time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
