Daisie Marie Redden

Daisie Marie Redden, 64 of Piney View, passed away on April 4, 2017 with her family by her side. Born April 14, 1952 in Beckley, West Virginia to Arlie Sr. and Magaline Goins. She was a long time member of Terry Christian Church and also attended services at Stanford New Beginnings. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend with a loving personality who enjoyed cooking, reading, and holidays, but most of all spending precious time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father Arlie Goins Sr, two brothers; Lewis Goins, and Steve Goins. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving and devoted husband of 47 years Paul (Sonny) Redden Jr, her beloved mother Magaline Goins, her children; Jeffrey and Cathy Redden of Maple Fork, Scott and Jennifer Redden of Piney View, one brother Barney Goins of Beckley, and one sister Rose McDaniel of Oak Hill, her grandchildren; Erica and Clay Williamson, Courtney and Greg Brown, Hunter Redden and a host of loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and family that will miss her dearly. Friends may gather with the family Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 11-1PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Saturday April 8, 2017 at 1PM with Pastor Lynn Halstead and Lonnie Grear officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bowers Hospice House for all of their care and support.
