Dewey I. Lilly, age 40, of Flat Top, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Raleigh General Hospital following an extended illness. Born December 23, 1983, in Beckley, he was the son of the late Stevie and Terry Lilly.
Dewey worked as a pressman for Beckley Newspaper and loved working on his farm, spending time driving the back roads of West Virginia and talking with his family and friends on the phone.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Austin, Stephanie and Gracie Lilly of Daniels, his sister Brooke Lilly and fiancé Austin Reed, nephew Jacob, and niece Bella of Ghent, his brother Adam Lilly and wife Kimberly and nephews Hank and Luke of Flat Top, and his favorite aunt Tamara Lilly of Princeton and many other extended family and friends.
In accordance with Dewey's wishes, he will be cremated.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial dinner in Dewey's honor at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the family farm in Flat Top, WV.
