Earl graduated from Woodrow Wilson high school and attended Marshall University where he was a member of the TKE fraternity. After college he joined the United States Air Force. He moved to DC to work at the Pentagon and that is the city where he met his wife, Francine. Earl was always the life of the party, dressed with impeccable style and lit up any room he was in. With an infectious smile he instantly made anyone he met feel like his new best friend. Earl was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping with his DC friends, hunting, collecting guns and playing with his two pups. He loved Michigan football and his Marshall Thundering Herd. He was a mean cook and most enjoyed hosting large family gatherings where he put together meals to feed an army. Anyone who knew him would tell you if you needed anything he would be there for you in a heartbeat. One of his favorite places to visit was Kamena Vourla, Greece, where he and Francine married. Earl and Francine recently moved back to West Virginia and enjoyed reconnecting with his family and many childhood friends. He loved watching his youngest brother, Emory, blossom at his alma mater playing soccer for the Flying Eagles.
Earl was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Jean Bibbs; and his paternal grandmother and grandfather, Miss Hazel Robbins and Mr. Jack Robbins.
He is survived by his wife, Francine Serafin and their beloved dogs Odin and Oliver; his brothers, Charles Bibbs, Brandon Smith and Emory Robbins; his sister, Tracey Harper and her husband, Nakiyan; his aunts and uncles, Katherine, Yvonne, Derrielee, Contrina, Ellen, Willie, Billy, Nora and Sheila; his nieces and nephews, Aiden, Nakiyan “2”, Kassidy, Makayla and Caidin; his special and loving father, David Bair and his wife, Sue and their children, Greg, Kady and Savannah; his maternal grandmother, Marguerite Bush; mother-in-law, Josephine; brother-in-law, Harry; sister-in-law, Jean; his many cousins; and his beloved Greek family.
