Mr. Eugene Hilbert Sr.

Eugene Ralph Hilbert Sr., age 98, of Beckley, WV passed away at his home in Beckley, WV on September 30, 2022. Born April 19, 1924 he was the son of Albert Clinton Hilbert and Vera L. Wright Hilbert. Mr. Hilbert was a decorated Navy WWII veteran, a private pilot who built his own experimental aircraft, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Nila Jean Hilbert and son Eugene Ralph Hilbert, Jr. He is survived and cherished by son Patrick Hilbert and wife Melinda, daughter Donna Hilbert and partner Cynthia Flynn, daughter Deanna Tassitino and husband Michael, stepson David McManamay, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a special caregiver Ellie McDaniel. Mr. Hilbert will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley, WV.
