Francis "Jill" Miller

Mrs. Jill Miller passed away from this life to her new life in Heaven on August 1, 2025 in Hilltop, WV. She was born in West Hamlin, WV, graduated from Hamlin High School in 1967 and was proud of her WV heritage. She enjoyed going to church and loved the Lord with all her heart. She enjoyed watching TV, singing and songwriting. Mrs. Miller was a wonderful caretaker having taking care of a lot of people in her lifetime. She was a wonderful mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. With any obstacle she faced in life, and there were many, she drew strength from her strong faith in the Lord. She sacrificed so much for her family, words cannot truly express. She diligently prayed for her family all of the time. She was preceded in death by her parents - Shirley and Beulah (Plumley) Cummings; three sisters, Lenore Starling, Janice Cummings, and Infant Girl Cummings; three brothers, Cledith Cummings, Jimmy Cummings and Infant Boy Cummings. Mrs. Miller is survived by two sons whom she loved very much and whom loved her - Gene (Beth) Miller, and Shawn Miller; three sisters; Bea Cooper, Nelda (Doug) Gilley, and June (Steve) Metcalf; two brothers, Forrest (Jeane) Cummings and Michael (Sharon) Cummings; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Glen View Independent Baptist Church, 1250 Glenview Rd. Crab Orchard, WV 25827 on Sunday August 17th. Dinner will be served to friends and family at 12 pm with a service officiated by Pastor Gene Miller at 1 pm.
