Ginger Lee Dameron

Ginger Lee Dameron, 58, of Prosperity, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2015. Born November 13, 1956, she is the daughter of Glenn Bennett and the late Lillian Smalls Bennett. Ginger enjoyed quilting, reading, movies, fishing, and spending time with her family. She was employed with Beckley Garbage as the Office Manager for 21 years. In addition to her mother, Ginger is preceded in death by her brother, Stacey Wade Bennett. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Benjamin Dameron of Prosperity; step-daughters, Heather Lineberger and husband, Dale of Lincolnton, N.C., Jennifer Smith and husband, Brad of Lincolnton, N.C.; father, Glenn Bennett of Bradley, W.Va.; granddaughter, Chloe Lineberger of Lincolnton, N.C.; grandson, Dillon Smith of Lincolnton, N.C.; granddaughter, Chelsea Lineberger of Charlotte, N.C., granddaughter, Victoria Lineberger of Clover, S.C.; grandson, Trevor Lineberger of Cherryville, N.C.; sister, Rita Blake and husband, Dee of Crab Orchard; brother, Darrell Bennett and wife, Jane of Bolt, brother, Lane Bennett and wife, Carmella of North Carolina; brother and sister in laws and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Rev. Glen Kuhn officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chris Dameron, Chris Blake, David Davis, Robbie Cyrus, Emmett Deavers and Moose Ahmed. Friends may gather with the family Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
