She was of the Christian faith who love and served the Lord.
Born on February 6th, 1939, in Oak Hill, WV, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Garnett Toney Evans.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband William George Roman, brothers Gene Evans and Gordon Evans, and sisters Dorothy Settle, Ruby Cox, Shirley Byrd, and Betty Byrd.
Those left to cherish her beautiful memory include daughters Ellen (Calvin) Moore and Karen (John) Small; grandchildren Michael (Jamie) Moore and Kira Small; great-grandchildren Morgan Moore and Jackson Moore; also numerous nieces, nephews; a sister-in-law, Nancy Evans and special friend Michael Newman.
In keeping with her wishes, Hazel will be cremated. There will be a memorial service on June 7th, 2025 at 1PM at the Mausoleum at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy can be made to Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV.
