James "Jimmy" Madison Henson, age 65 of Sophia, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at his home. Born on March 23, 1954 in Beaver, WV, he was the son of the late Willie Allene Henson.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Katherine Raines and Shirley Pennington; and brothers Jerry Henson, William Henson and Glen Comer. He is survived by his son, Michael Henson and his wife, Anna; daughter, Robin Falbo; his six grandchildren, Joshua Falbo, Kaitlyn Falbo, Adrianna Falbo, Olivia Henson, Landon Henson and Claire Henson; sisters, Wanda Popovich and Mary Calfee; and brother, Charles Henson.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Friday, November 1st at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Miller officiating. Burial will be held in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Blue Ridge Funeral Home & Crematorium has the honor of serving the family.
