Judy Forbes

She was born March 31, 1949 in Raleigh, West Virginia to the late Archie Crook and Arbutis Trailing Crook. Judy was of the Pentecostal Faith. She enjoyed reading, electronic games, being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Clayton Raymond Alberty and several sisters and brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Cecil Forbes of the residence, her son, Ray Alberty of Raleigh; daughters, Lisa M. Noel and husband Jay of North Vernon, IN and Angie Smith and husband Hugh of Beaver; brother, Steve Crook of Mabscott; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may gather with the family Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 6-9pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 11am, Friday, December 30, 2016 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Buddy Calfee officiating.

Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with family and friends to serve as pallbearers.
