Loretta Jane Garner

Born April 9, 1939 at Backus Mountain, WV; she was a daughter of the late Arnold Harrah and the late Nancy Willis Harrah.

Loretta loved spending time with her family; watching the turkeys and deer out the window, and spoiling her dog, Precious.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Terrell; two husbands, Joseph Allman, Jr and Jimmy Garner; a brother, James Harrah; and her sister, Juanita Mitchell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children, Joseph Allman and wife, Debra of Sandstone, WV; Cheryl Bowles of Daniels, and Jenny Gibson of Stem, NC; two sisters, Hazel Cooper and husband, Phillip of Lewisburg, NC and Virginia Spinelli and husband, Joe of Raleigh, NC; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Loretta Jane Garner will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Bishop FD Sexton officiating. Following the services, Loretta will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.

Friends may gather with the family from 12:00PM until time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
