Lori Murphy Rousseau of Laurel, Maryland, passed away October 20th 2025 at age 60. Lori was born June 4th 1965 to Larry and Linda Murphy of Sophia, West Virginia. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Mimi. Lori worked for the NEA (National Education Association) for over 30 years.
Lori is survived by her husband of 34 years, Adrian Rousseau; their three children, Paris Rousseau, Adrian Rousseau II, and Dallas Rousseau of Laurel Maryland; grandchildren Leilajai Black, Rockwell Black, Shyreef Garrett, Sevyn Rousseau, Adrian “Trey” Rousseau III, and Snoh Rousseau; her parents Larry and Linda Murphy; sister Cherie Austin (Tim) of Springdale AR; brother Patrick Murphy (Sharon) of Beckley,WV; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Funeral Services by pastor Kenneth Parent will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Beckley, WV at 1 pm on Thursday October 30th. Friends and family are invited to visit for an hour prior to services. After the services she will be buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family would also like to invite friends to gather at Pasquale's in Beckley at 3pm.
