Mrs. Lucille M Lambert

Born May 8th, 1924 at Ury, WV, she was the daughter of the late Emmitt and Nellie Ray and the wife of the late Arlie R. Lambert.

Lucille was a wonderful Christian mother and homemaker. She attended Mt. View Church of God and Family Worship Center. In her free time, she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, gardening and playing games.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lucille was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra K. Calhoun; and siblings, Thurmond Ray, Madeline Calvert, Fred Ray, Jean Coe, Frank Ray, and Tom Ray.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Linda Huff of New Market MD, and Doyne Cole of Midway, WV; four grandchildren, Tracy Schlegel of Bethesda MD, Kelly Huff of Kensington, MD, Dean Calhoun of Richmond, KY, and Lynn Henderson of McComb, IL; five great-grandchildren, Cole, Jude, Curtis, Lucie, and John; and six living siblings, Naomi Causey, Jesse Ray, Martha Bevins, Carol Williams, ReaAnn Shultz, and Mike Ray.

Funeral services for Lucille will be on Friday, August 16th, 2024 at 1PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Calhoun officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior. Lucille will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens following the funeral.
