Born on May 22nd, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Aaron Lindsey and Emagene Hatfield Lindsey.
Phyllis was a retired cook for Raleigh County Schools. She loved and cherished her family and her dog Skippy and was certainly loved by all her family and friends. She was very proud of her sons and grandkids and all their achievements. She greatly missed her husband who preceded her in death and very much looked forward to seeing him again.
She was a beautiful woman that cared about her own family and the kids she served. She took great pride in feeding her students, as she was known to be a great cook.
Phyllis enjoyed passing time at home watching QVC and HSN as well as reality television. She was of the Baptist faith and a faithful viewer of Pastor Charles Stanley, learning from his messages every Sunday. She loved the Lord with all her heart.
She passed suddenly without pain and suffering and our family is very thankful that we will see her again in Heaven.
In addition to her parents and Husband Kent, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Philip Saul; a sister, Malinda Lindsey, and a special pet, Skippy.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Kent Saul (Bonnie) of Morgantown, Robert Saul (Becky) of Charlotte, NC, and Aaron Tyler Saul of St. Albans; grandchildren, Phylicia Martin (Travis) of Beaver, Kent Saul III of Morgantown, Robert Saul of Prosperity, Alex Saul of Charlotte, NC and Kendal Saul and special friend Anthony Cowell of Morgantown; great-grandchildren, Shane Martin and Scarlett Martin; special grand-nephew, Brandon Bonds of Cleveland, OH; very special nephew, Jim Wills (Lisa) and his family, Courtney (Derek Remaley) and their children, Dax and Eli, Paige Wills, Aaron Wills, and Jace Wills; lifetime friends, James and Sue Birchfield of Lester; and bonus son David Bonnett.
A celebration of life will be on Saturday, February 15th, 2025 at 1 PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Hall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Phyllis will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens following the service.
