

Priscilla J Langley died peacefully in her sleep after a long illness on January 28, 2026. Priscilla was born on April 11, 1945, in Mount Hope, WV. She was the daughter of Thelma Lee Brewer (Murdock) and Roy Earl Brewer.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son David. Her son was the light in her life and lived with her until he recently died of cancer. They can now be together.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister Penny Brewer who resides in Lorton, VA, and brother Danny Brewer and wife Crystal Brewer who reside in Charleston, SC. Also included is her niece Cary Lee Thompson who also resides in Charleston, SC.
After High School Priscilla moved to Washington, DC, where she was employed as a Secretary with the US Department of Agriculture. While there she met and married her husband David F Langley. David was in the US Marine Corps and served in Vietnam until he was killed in action on July 5, 1968. After that Priscilla returned home to reside in Bradley, WV, where she continued to raise her son David, Jr. Priscilla continued to make a loving home for David where she baby sat numerous children that still remember her till this day. She was also an avid animal lover. She and David had numerous dogs and other animals that they cherished. She would never turn away a stray animal and always brought them into her home. She also loved plants and flowers. Her yard was always beautifully landscaped, and she loved making her home a good place to live. Another talent she had was Arts and Crafts. She was very good at making things beautiful and would always add her magical touch.
Priscilla was the best sister anyone can ask for. Always loving and always there for you. She will be truly missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
Priscilla found joy in life’s simple blessings.
