Corky was a quiet and gentle man who never had a harsh word to say, family meant everything to him. It takes a special man to come into an already made family and help raise those children as his own; which is exactly what he did.
He leaves behind his lifelong companion, Patricia Bone; Sharon (Cecil) Evans of Oak Hill, Mary (Gary) Ferrell of Fayetteville, and Mike (Kim) Bone of Fayetteville whom are proud to call him “Dad”. His grandchildren are Pete (Beverly), Rebecca (Adam), Krystal, Amber, Jackie (Nicki), Frank (Hillary), Laken, Taren, Kourtney (Justin), Jerod, Jason and Jessica, whom all enjoyed growing up sitting on his lap as Santa, going on vacation to Tennessee and listening to his wonderful laugh, among many other memories they shared with their “papaw.” He also had 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Ray) Holbrook of Galloway, OH, Janice (Mark) Krosky of Scott Depot, WV, and Joanne McCoy of Charleston, WV; and brothers, Danny Duncan of Oak Hill, WV, David Duncan of Minden, WV and Harold (Patricia) Duncan of Fayetteville, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles E. Duncan and Robert Lee Duncan.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Milburn Pack officiating.
