Roger Lee Belcher

Roger Lee Belcher, 75, of Grandview, went home to be with the lord on May 26, 2016. Roger was born in Montcalm, WV to the late Coy Oscar and Elfie Hawks Belcher. Roger was a wonderful papaw, and spent his time providing for his family and doing yardwork, which he loved. In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his five brothers: Dewey, Ralph, Doug, Melvin, and Larry Belcher; and one sister, Dorothy Belcher Gartlan. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy Workman Belcher; sons, Tim Belcher and wife Karla of Beaver, Kevin Lee Belcher and wife Debra of Crab Orchard; sisters: Thelma Thomas of Fredericksburg, VA, Nancy Farley of MD, Donna Belcher of MD, Kay Biby of Princeton; six grandchildren: Kristen Smith, Ryan Smith, Brooke Belcher Savino, Kyle Belcher, Terri Belcher, Chandler Belcher; one great-grandchild, Kayden Belcher; and caretakers, Christy Overbay and Connie Pusaperie. Friends may gather with the family Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 12:30-2pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 2pm.
