Rose Ann Bailey

Loving mother and grandmother, Rose was a graduate of Pineville High School and married to the late Theodore A. Bailey Jr. She was a radio operator at WWYO, an accomplished upholsterer, seamstress, painter and commissioned artist. Rose was also a successful small business owner, as the operator of The Freezer restaurant, ETC. general store, and Pineville Land Company. Rose was a seasoned golfer and officially recognized as having made three holes-in-one. She thoroughly enjoyed hosting friends for bridge parties and supporting all of her grandchildren's activities.

She is survived by her children, Deidra Shaffer (Craig) of Lynchburg, VA., Theodore A Bailey III of Las Vegas, NV, and William C. Bailey III (Janeen) of Beckley, WV. As well as, her grandchildren, Alexandra Bailey, Ashtin Bailey, And William Bailey IV. She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Opal Shuck of Pineville, WV. Her loving husband Theodore A. Bailey Jr. Her siblings, Coral Davis, Floyd Shuck Jr., Virgil Shuck, and Oma Tumlin.

Rose’s final wishes were to be cremated. No services will be held.
