

It is with broken hearts we say goodbye to our precious Mother, Grandmother and Friend. Rosie Belle Honaker answered Jesus’s call on Saturday, January 8th after a brief illness at home, surrounded by her loved ones.
Rosie was born on March 11th, 1922 to Andrew and Bertie Gibson of Logan, West Virginia. She was proceeded in death by her husband George; three children Patty, Douglas and Philip; grandson Robert great-grandson, Ethan, and George Honaker, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Randy (Belinda) Honaker, Larry (Leona) Honaker, Peggy (Danny) Stephenson; daughter in law Dede Honaker; and special friends Cheryl and Paul Hobbs. Thoughts and memories will be treasured by her 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Rosie never met a stranger and loved Yard Sales and crocheting. She could spot a 4 leaf clover in any yard. She was an expert in doing cross word puzzles.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 14, 2022 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, 5251 Robert C. Byrd Dr. Beckley, WV with Rev. Dean Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Friends may gather with the family from 12:00 PM until the time of the services at Blue Ridge Funeral Home 5251 Robert C Byrd Dr. Beckley, WV 25801.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Backpack Program at Fairdale Freewill Baptist Church. Rosie loved to donate what she called “Jesus Dollars” to the program that helps feed children in the area.
