Rowena Pritchett

Rowena “Faye” Taylor Pritchett 61, of Beaver left the bonds of this life, unexpectedly, to rest with her Heavenly Father on Monday July 27, 2015, at her home. Born January 26, 1954 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Audrey Bolton Taylor. Faye was a highly skilled and compassionate nurse that touched countless lives by serving her community at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital, and the Beckley Chapter of the American Red Cross for many years. She was a very loving, caring, and giving woman that loved the Lord with all of her heart. She went out of her way to show that love to everyone that came in contact with her. Faye loved her children and grandchildren, and was very proud of each one of them. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Amber Marie Pritchett, her daughter Amy’s identical twin; her brother Richard L. Taylor, and her niece Kelly Taylor Grimes. Those left to cherish her memory include: Her daughter Amy Pritchett-Smith of Beaver, her son Will Pritchett of Wendell N.C., her four grandchildren Skylar Pritchett, Meagen Pritchett, Trevor Pritchett, and Mercedes Smith; her brothers George Taylor, Gary Taylor, and Kevin Taylor; her sister Rita Taylor; her half brother Roy E. Taylor; her favorite little canine companion Molly, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. A memorial service celebrating the life and legacy of Faye, will be conducted on Saturday August 1, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Church of God Family Worship Center in Beckley with Pastor Stacy Dingess officiating.
