Roy Coulter

Roy Keith Coulter Sr., of Cabin Creek, formerly of Crab Orchard, WV, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 30, 1959, in West Virginia, and was the son of the late Roy Dow Coulter and Eula I. Cannady Coulter.

Keith was a man of many trades and he was a heavy equipment operator for coal load outs for many years before retiring due to his illness. In his spare time, he enjoyed farming, tinkering, he was an avid lover of boats and four wheeler riding and spending time with his family most of all. Later in life during his free time he loved bee keeping and collecting honey he took pride in his work.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Zona Neubert, Latha Kay Coulter, and Alverta Mell.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Keith Coulter Jr. (Consuelo) of Odd, WV, Belinda Norman (Delane) of Ghent, WV, and Kevin Coulter of Beckley, WV; five grandchildren, Makenzi (Adam) Hall and Morgan Coulter of Beckley, WV, Brittany (Zach) Grimmett of Odd, WV, and Emily and Noah Norman of Ghent, WV; one sister, Shrilda Wyatt of Crab Orchard, WV; one brother, Bryan Coulter of Hinton, WV; and many nieces and nephews.

Services by Pastor Andrew Shane Roark will be held at 1pm on Friday Feb. 6th 2026 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Beckley, WV. Two visitations have been scheduled for those wishing to pay their respects and offer condolences, they will be held on Thursday Feb. 5th 2026 from 6pm to 7pm and from 12pm to 1pm before the funeral on Friday Feb. 6th 2026. After the services Roy will be laid to rest near his parents at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
