Sandra Kay Bennett, 78, returned to her heavenly home on January 19, 2026 after a long battle with cancer. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.
Sandra was born to the late Glennis and Buster Green of Lexington KY on March 11, 1947. Sandra met her husband of 58 years in high school and later married on September 23, 1967, and went on to have two children Beth and Richard.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother Sandra was a devoted member of Bible Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Everett; her son Richard; her daughter Beth Ann Pack; her grandchildren Randell Stover and RJ Pack; three great grandchildren; her brother Jim Green and her sisters Mary Flagg and Sue Krug. She is preceded in death by her brother, Richard Green; and her parents.
No public services are planned. The family invites you to honor Sandra's memory though acts of kindness to the Bowers Hospice House located in Beckley, WV or to John and Romans ministry of Bible Baptist Church PO Box 415 MacArthur, WV 25873.
