Victor retired from the State Tax Department after a long career as an accountant. He enjoyed playing Clash of Clans, playing with all the grandchildren, driving around sight-seeing, having poker nights, and sitting on his back porch. He was also a lover of chocolate.
Victor was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, best friend and brother. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Erma Gibson. Children; Crystal and Fred Brooks, and Carrie and Johnathan Hicks. Grandchildren; Fred William Brooks II and Nita, Erica Brooks and Albaro Benitez, Aiden Jarrell, Ethan Jarrell, and Nevaeh Hicks. Great-grandchildren; Angelica, Trinity, Hector, and Camila Benitez. Victor also has four sisters; Edna Rubin, Nancy Adkins, Marie and Ray Lane, and Malinda and Jerry Jerow.
In keeping with Victors’ wishes he will be cremated and his remains buried at a later date.
