Wayne Pressley

Wayne was a disabled brick and block mason who loved fishing, ice fishing, hunting and loved spending time with family. He loved visiting his son-in-law Mike Thompson and fishing at Flat Top Lake. He attended Little Valley Baptist Church, South Sand Branch where Junior Plumley pastors.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline Pressley; a sister, Shirley Beckwith; brothers, Bobby, Jerry, Jessie and Marcus.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of almost 58 years, Brenda Pressley; a daughter, Lisa Thompson and husband Mike of Beaver; son, Stanley Pressley of Wytheville, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Wayne will be on Tuesday, February 10th, 2026 at 1 PM at blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Lilly officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior. Wayne will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens following the service.

Pallbearers will be Marvin Evans, Ron Evans, Chase Evans, Tommy Cochran, David Cernuto and Jeff Evans. Ryann Evans will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
