Wilda Grace Hunt, age 84, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Summers County ARH in Hinton, WV. Born on May 23, 1935 in Affinity, WV, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Wiseman and Lois Prince Wiseman.
Wilda was a member of Sophia First Baptist Church and attended Memorial Baptist Church in Beckley. She retired from Aladdin Food Services and Appalachian Bible College as an office clerk.
In addition to her parents, Thomas and Lois Wiseman she was preceded in death by her two sisters and six brothers. She is survived by her husband, Larry Donald Hunt; son, Larry Dean Hunt and his wife, Donna; grandchildren, Tanner, Cara Grace and Hunter Hunt; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Lincoln; sisters-in-law, Joan Dale and Phyllis Hylton; and her special neighbors, Howard and Susie Gooden.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm, Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Bright officiating. Burial will follow the services in Hot Coal Cemetery in Sophia.
Honoring Mrs. Hunt as pallbearers are Randy Hunt, Jeff Hunt, Ralph “Bunk” Wiseman, Ethan Hunt and Hunter Hunt.
