Danny Vincent Hanratty

Danny Vincent Hanratty, age 61, of Glen Burnie, MD passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 2, 2023. Born at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, Danny was the son of the late CW4 Eugene Joseph and Virginia Cora (Baker) Hanratty.

Danny is a 1979 graduate of Aberdeen High School. Following high school, Danny served in the Air Force with the Security Police. After leaving the service, Danny worked as a property manager before suffering a debilitating stroke. Danny had a lifetime love of music, history, and sports—especially his beloved University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team.

Danny is survived by his loving wife, Dawn, and children Jamie Tebbs, Michelle Teegarden (Noel) and Thomas Hanratty (Kelsi), and granddaughters Mayzie, Hazel and Harper. He is also survived by one sister, Brownie Muncie, and four brothers, Eugene (Christina), J. Michael (Cathy), Patrick and Timothy (Janet) Hanratty, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Danny is predeceased by his daughter, Camille Tebbs.

Visitation will be held at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd., Bel Air, Maryland 21014, on Friday January 6, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm with a service to follow at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
