David "Buddy" Gray

David "Buddy" Gray, age 67, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. David was born October 1, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Albert and Sylvia Gray (Schwartz); David grew up in Long Island, NY, where he then moved to VA where he met his wife Jeannine Gray and started a family; they later moved to Maryland and then retired in Florida. Devoted father of Shena Matsos and her husband Vasilios and the late Alexander Gray; loving grandfather of Alexios and Zinovia Matsos; dear brother of Gary Gray, and Reva Nichols and her husband Gary.

David worked for the car industry for over 30 years as a Finance Director. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening and making home grown spices which he shared with friends and family. He was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying baseball and football. His favorite teams were the NY Yankees and the Baltimore Ravens. He showed his love and devotion for his family by being a wonderful provider.

A receiving of family and friends for David will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd., Bel Air, Maryland 21014.
