Gilbert "Lee" Leroy Rhyner, age 69, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Beloved husband of Jane G. Rhyner; devoted father of Jamie Posluszny and her fiance Travis Reither, Kara Rhyner and her fiancé Ryan Bray, Brenden Rhyner and his wife Sarah, and Adam Rhyner; loving grandfather of Rileigh, Jordan, Hannah, Avery and Wesley; dear brother of Susan Squires and her husband Chris. Also survived by extended family and many friends.
Lee will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, PopPop, and friend. His contagious smile and quirky personality will be forever etched in our minds. Life as we know it will never be the same.
A visitation for Lee will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Thursday, March 20th, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
