I will always remember and keep Joe in my memory.  He was a kind and caring person who always cared that everyone in the 229th Army Band was being taken care of.  Joe always looked out for the welfare of our members.  He will always be in my memories.

I only served with Joe for a few years in the early 2000s before moving, but I have fond memories of him. I know he will be missed by many. My condolences to his family.

Like others have shared, Joe was part of the glue that kept the 229th Army Band thriving for many years.   He always put others ahead of himself.   Having known and served with Joe definitely made my overlapping time in the unit full of many terrific shared experiences and numerous related humorous tales  and anecdotes.   God bless....

I met Joe while serving in the 229th. While I only knew Joe for a short time due to him retiring shortly after I joined, he was someone I will never forget. Joe had a great sense of humor and showed me how much the Guard was a family. Coming from active duty I never saw the military as a family until I met Joe. He welcomed me into the band with open arms. The memories that were created from serving with Joe will never be forgotten. God bless my friend. Rest in peace.

Mike and family members.  I share your loss of a fine man who always gave a big smile and caring heart to anyone that he met.  I share many fine memories of great times with Joe in the 229th Army Band.  Joe always had kind words to everyone and was loved and respected by every member of our Unit.  He will surely be missed but never forgotten.  Once a person met Joe, they would never forget this kind and caring person.  My sincere condolences to the family and know that Joe is in the hands of his heavenly father and looking down upon his family with his bride, Bonnie.

My deepest sympathy to the Pacifico family.  I was fortunate to serve with Joe for 13 years in the MD Army National Guard.  He was a good man who genuinely cared for every soldier in his unit.  He was a compassionate leader who made our unit a better place.  He will be deeply missed by many people.  I consider myself a better man having had the honor of knowing him.  May the Lord walk close to your family during this difficult time.
