On June 23, 2025 Margaret Ann Benway (nee Jording) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Vernon P. Benway; devoted mother of Jean Riegel and her husband Craig; cherished grandmother of Craig Michael Riegel and his wife Stephanie, and Caitlyn M. Riegel and her husband Louie Maggio; loving great-grandmother of Theodore, Benjamin, Carter, and the late Lincoln; dear sister of Bobby Jording, Frank Jording, Charles Jording, Darlene Kern, Deborah Miller, and the late Bonnie Callander; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ann retired from Macy's after working there for over 35 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014 on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
