Marlene Grace Alexander

Marlene Grace Alexander, 83, of Fallston, Maryland passed away peacefully on October 6, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Marlene was born on May 13, 1939, in Keisterville, Pennsylvania to Charles and Myrtle Rodeheaver. She graduated from Uniontown High School in Uniontown, Pennsylvania in May 1957. After graduation, Marlene met the love of her life, the late Walter Alexander. They married May 17, 1958 and were together for 62 years. Among her favorite pastimes included reading, crossword puzzles, and conversing with family and friends. She was her happiest when spending time with her family, especially her seven adored great-children.

Marlene was the devoted mother of Luann Alexander Kirchner and her husband George Kirchner; cherished grandmother of George W. Kirchner and his wife Maria, Matthew Kirchner and his wife Lauren, and Laura Fox and her husband Robert; cherished great-grandmother of George A. Kirchner, Isabella Kirchner, Ellie Kirchner, Lila Kirchner, Nora Kirchner, Charlotte Fox and Grace Fox; and loving sister of the late Charles Rodeheaver. She is also survived by a host of other loving family members and friends.

Friends may call at Schimunek Funeral Home at 610 W. Macphail Road, Bel Air, on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 2-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home on Monday, October 10, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Highview Memorial Gardens.
