Unexpectedly on July 5, 2021, Matthew William Daughaday passed away; loving husband of Ashley Daughaday (nee Emala); beloved son of Bonnie and Gary Daughaday; devoted brother of Josh Daughaday; cherished grandson of Hazel Daughaday and the late William, the late William and Carolyn Mandley; dear son-in-law of Joseph Emala and the late Vicki; dedicated uncle of Lexi Daughaday and Grant Harris; fond brother-in-law of Megan Harris and her husband Neil. Also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues. Matt was a US History teacher for Magnolia Middle, 8th grade for the past 11 years, and a local DJ for 24 years.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home, Bel Air, on Saturday from 12-4 pm, where a service will begin at 4pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to Magnolia Middle School, 299 Ft. Hoyle Road Joppa, MD 21085.
