Nick McKenney

On August 2, 2017 Nick McKenney, loving son of Beth Boyd and her husband Joe and Robert McKenney, Jr. and his wife Marcia, passed away suddenly. Dear grandson of Lola High and the late Rodney High, Mary Ann McKenney and Robert McKenney. Nephew of Jeffrey and Donald High, Merry Knight, and Erin McKenney. Cousin of Kelli High and Cameron McKenney, also survived by many other caring relatives and friends.

Nick had just celebrated 11 months clean and sober. He loved being of service and helping others. He was an encouragement and motivator to those who were struggling. He liked to ski, and loved his work climbing cell towers and had planned to start his own cell tower maintenance company some day. He had recently fallen in love and was eagerly planning a future with Heather Lyn Hafer. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Celebration of Life will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc. 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014 on Saturday from 3 to 5 PM, where everyone is encouraged to share memories of Nick. Online tributes may be left at www.Schimunekfuneralhomes.com
