Rick has left us all too soon and we will miss him not only as a teammate but as a close and dear friend. His dry sense of humor always put a smile on our faces whether on the playing field or at post-game lunches and dinners. We have all been truly blessed to have had Rick as part of our life's journey. MJ Kathy and my prayers go out to you during this time of loss. If we can be of any help, please advise.

Mike loved Rick like a brother.  He said he was such fun to be around.  Rick always looked out for everyone.  I am so blessed to have met him.  He was so helpful at the picnics and you and him always had what supply we forgot to bring.  my heart is breaking for you.  We have moved and are closer to you.  Use Mike's phone # to call me so I can visit, talk, cry, hug, or whatever you need.  Mike is at rehab between you and me!  You are not alone.  Reach out to me.

Big Bopper was a great friend, work buddy and teammate over the years.  Loved our Eastern Shore trips together and NCAA basketball tournaments.  Condolences to Mary Jane, Don and families.  Great guy who will be sorely missed.

        Rick was a near long time friend and will be missed, but my memories of him will always be with me for ever.

My name is Skip, a friend and softball player with Rick. He was truly a great guy. He would drive us to the away games and I loved the banter among all of us. It made the hour-long drives enjoyable. I'm so sorry for your loss and I pray the Lord will comfort all of you through this very difficult time.

MJ, Sue and I send our heartfelt condolences in your time of sorrow. A great teammate and friend, our lives were made better knowing the two of you. We will miss him and our dinners together on the tournament circuit and the many conversations we had, both humorous and about life in general. Although we feel sorry for Rick that his life was cut short, we mostly feel sorry for you, for his friends and teammates, and for ourselves because we all have to continue our lives without him. His memory will live on in all of us. God bless you MJ.

Rick was a wonderful person and I feel grateful to have known him. He will be remembered for his helpfulness and kindness to others, a wonderful sense of humor, and his generosity toward others. He will be missed.

MJ our hearts go out to you and grieve with you in Rick’s passing.  Our heart is breaking for you. I cannot imagine the depth of your loss, but please know you are surrounded by so much love and a lot of prayer.  Rick was such a great guy  and we think back to many times together.  We’re so glad we got to see you both last October while traveling with Rick’s ball team.  Praying you feel God’s presence surrounding you—holding you close and giving you strength in each moment.
