On February 4, 2017, Theodore Hewitt Woernle, beloved husband of Kathleen E. Woernle (nee Ritchie); devoted father of Mark A. Woernle, and Kathleen D. Johnston and her husband Tim; loving grandfather of Christopher, Maggie, Sean, Nicky Johnston; dear brother of Dottie Enders. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:00 am at St. Ignatius Catholic Church (Hickory). Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
